In 2025, I suffered chronic joint pain for the first time in my life. It was extremely disabling. My pain was a 6 to 10 out of 10 every single day. It affected most of my joints. And it came out of nowhere. It took me only about 8 months to heal. And I did so by avoiding the medical system altogether. I had been studying chronic pain for the past 4 years while earning my PhD in physiotherapy. I knew exactly what would happen to me if I went down the road of standard medical treatment: I would keep suffering, and I would not heal. If you want to know how I healed, you can learn about my journey in this recently aired interview with Dr. David Clarke, the president of the Association for the Treatment of Neuroplastic Symptoms (www.neuroplastic.org). If you know anyone currently embroiled in the "see every possible doctor and get no relief" roller coaster, please share this page with them. There is always hope. It is always possible (even if very difficult) to heal.
